Overview

Join a research project that is developing web-accessible databases, and visualization and analysis software for the human genome project. We seek a self-motivated individual whose responsibilities will include working with current staff on a range of system design, implementation, and documentation tasks. Knowledge of molecular biology would be a strong plus for this position. This position is in the Artificial Intelligence Center.

Experience and Education Requirements

Knowledge of Lisp and Unix essential. Experience with Common Lisp, the Common Lisp Interface Manager, and object-oriented databases or frame knowledge representation systems, and computer graphics, would be a strong advantage. Experience with any of the following technologies would also be a plus: HTML, XML, SQL, Emacs, Windows.
M.S. in Computer Science
0-5 years professional software development.
