left-attachment

Arguments: standard-object

Returns or sets with setf the value of the left-attachment property of standard-object. This property determines how the distance between the object's left edge and the edge(s) of its parent window change when the parent gets resized.

The possible values and their effects are:

• :right: object maintains a constant distance between its left edge and the right edge of its parent window whenever the parent is resized.
• :left: object maintains a constant distance between its left edge and the left edge of its parent window whenever the parent is resized.
• :scale: object maintains the same ratio of the distances from the left and right sides of its parent window whenever the parent is resized. I.e., if the left side was one-half of the way between the left and right edges of the parent before, then it is one-half of the way between the edges after resizing.
