Arguments: dialog-item
Returns whether anything will be done when cut-selection or delete-selection is called on
dialog-item or its widget-window
. The value of this
property may be set by calling (setf cuttable), or
it may be set in the inspector when laying out forms in the IDE.
If nil
, then cut-selection or delete-selection will do nothing
and will return nil
. Otherwise they will
proceed as usual (though deletion is still done only when there is an
applicable method to do it).
The default value is t
for text-editing
widgets, where text deletion is typically allowed, and nil
most everywhere else. The default is t
for a combo-box
, though this applies only when its
typable property is true and
affects only the typable pane. The value may be set to true for a
single-item-list
or multi-item-list
to cause
cut-selection and delete-selection to remove the selected item(s) from
its range.
