  ?x  and  ?y  can be defined as intervals using either times or points (though they must both be defined using the same mechanism). 
 I.e., Either  ?x  has  t:starttime   ?startTime  and  ?y  has  t:endtime   ?endTime  and  ?startTime  is after  ?endTime  on the timeline  or   ?x  has  t:startpoint   ?startPoint  and  ?y  has  t:endpoint   ?endPoint  and  ?startPoint  is after  ?endPoint .
