Arguments: (self rpc-port) (m rpc-message) &rest modifiers
This method is used with the message handle returned by rpc-invoke to query the state of a remote call. The value is a keyword that describes the state of the message. The possible keywords are:
:rms-begin-invoke
: a call has been initiated.
:rms-arguments
: the arguments to the call are being transmitted.
:rms-invoke-sent
: the entire call has been transmitted.
:rms-invoke-confirmed
: the call has been
acknowledged by the remote host. This state appears only if the
confirm argument of the port is non-nil
.
:rms-receiving-results
: the results are arriving.
:rms-result-received
: all the results have arrived.
This state appears only if the
confirm argument of the port is non-nil
.
:rms-done
: the results have been confirmed and the
call has completed successfully.
:rms-error-received
: the call is completed, but the
remote host is transmitting error information. This state appears only if the
confirm argument of the port is non-nil
.
:rms-error
: the call is completed, but the remote
host signaled an error.
:rms-throw
: the call was cut short by a throw in
the remote host.
