Arguments: menu-item
Returns whether a check mark may be toggled on and off on this
menu-item by calling (setf selected). The value can be specified
by passing a :checkable initarg to make-instance as true when creating
the menu-item
.
This property is ignored on Windows, where all menu-items are checkable. But on GTK, a space must be reserved for the check mark (with a box drawn there) even when the check mark is not turned on, and so the checkable property must be specified as true at creation time if the application may want to check the menu-item at some time.
