1. Lisp as a UNIX shared library

Allegro CL supports the use of Lisp via a shared library by C/C++
programs in the same manner as they use any other function
libraries. The interface and the documentation for Unix Shared
Libraries in Allegro CL 8.1 were replaced in an update released in mid
February, 2008. In this tech corner, we discuss the changes and the
example provided, which creates a C program that calls Lisp to
calculate a factorial:

4. European Common Lisp Meeting, Amsterdam, April 19/20, 2008

Arthur Lemmens and Edi Weitz are proud to announce the European Common
Lisp Meeting 2008. The meeting will consist of a Sunday full of talks
on April 20, 2008, with optional dinners on Saturday and Sunday
evening.
