1. Google Maps, Defining and Displaying from ACL

This Tech Corner article shows how to display google maps with Common
Graphics. On Windows, the Common Graphics browser widget is used. On
Linux, an external browser is used. Maps can be displayed showing
locations identified by address or by longitude and latitude. Regular,
hybrid, or satellite maps can be specified.

2. Free Web Seminar: Social Network Analytics using an RDF Database

Thursday, January 10, 2008, 10:00 - 11:00 am Pacific.

Many enterprise databases contain information about people, companies,
along with relationships between people and companies. The Semantic
Web carries the promise that we can use Semantic Technologies to
analyze networks of people and companies as well as events in time and
space. In this seminar, we will show how we can combine the current
state of the art for RDF and OWL reasoning with a number of well-known
Social Network Analytics. Space is limited, so please R.S.V.P. to
info@franz.com as soon as possible.

3. Web Seminar: GeoTemporal Reasoning with AllegroGraph

Thursday, January 24, 2008, 10:00 - 11:00 am Pacific.

Enterprises have begun utilizing semantic technologies and standards
for knowledge representation, knowledge access and
discovery. Combining this with GeoTemporal and Social Networking
analytics is the next stage of Business Intelligence in the
Enterprise. In our presentation we will focus primarily on the new
temporal logic and spatial primitives in AllegroGraph. Space is
limited, so please R.S.V.P. to info@franz.com as soon as possible.
