Things to know before you start...

The AllegroGraph Database runs natively on Linux x86-64 bit. The various clients run on assorted 32 and 64 bit platforms.
For Linux, you will need to:
- download and install AllegroGraph on a 64-bit Linux OS.
- download and install your preferred software language client;
AGWebView or
Gruff, included with the
AllegroGraph installation, turns a browser into a client.
- [Windows and Mac Users] To run AllegroGraph on Windows or Mac we provide a few options:
- Install a Linux Virtual Machine (for non-performance experiments). We provide a Virtual Machine image or you can create your own.
- Use Docker and the AllegroGraph image on DockerHub.
- Run Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL)on Windows 10.
- Use a cloud service provider
- Allegro CL Express users should read about using the Express Edition with AllegroGraph.
