2. AllegroGraph V1.2, Java Edition with SPARQL

AllegroGraph 1.2 includes the standalone Java Edition, with support
for SPARQL. Additionally, Franz is releasing AllegroGraph Free Java
Edition, that will work with up to 50 million triples, as a free
download. Key to this release, TopQuadrant has updated its enterprise
ontology-modeling platform, TopBraid Composer, to work directly with
AllegroGraph.

3. New Tutorial: Using RDNZL for .NET

RDNZL (pronounced "Redunzl") is a Common Lisp interface to .NET. The
software was developed by Dr. Edi Weitz and runs in several different
Common Lisp implementations. This tutorial describes how to use RDNZL
in Allegro CL.

A full description of RDNZL that includes a download link is available at:

4. New Tutorial: Sending programmatic emails via the SMTP module

The SMTP module included with Allegro CL allows users to
programmatically send electronic mail messages. A MIME module has
recently been added as a patch to Allegro CL 8.0 and 7.0, allowing
users to create MIME compliant messages. This code has been
incorporated into the SMTP module, to make it possible to send
MIME-compliant email messages as well. This tutorial gives a brief
demonstration on how to send a message via the SMTP module, that
contains non US-ASCII characters.

(Allegro CL includes a full-fledged post-office module that also
provides APIs for fetching mail via IMAP or POP, but we focus on
sending and SMTP only for this tutorial)
