1. Support for SSL X.509 certificates

An update released to SSL (Secure Socket Layer) sockets enhances this
facility to provide support for X.509 certificates. You can now:

* Do peer certificate verification
* Supply a certificate on the client side
* Inspect some fields of the peer certificate

2. Allegro CL 8.1 to enter beta test

The current schedule is to offer the beta test version of Allegro CL
8.1 to customers at the end of this month. If you are not a current
ACL customer and have something interesting you would like to test on
ACL 8.1 beta, please send me a description of your application.
