Job: Software Developer / Database Storage programmer

Franz, Inc., a medium size software company in Oakland, CA (2 blocks from BART) is looking for a Software Developer to join our AllegroGraph group. The requirements for the job are 5 years experience with each of the following items (in order of importance):

• database engine programming
• database theory
• Common Lisp programming
• interfacing between C and Common Lisp
• *nix programming
• RDF and the semantic web
• artificial intelligence

• distributed database storage layer development
• replication / HA development
• in-memory database development

We would prefer work to be done at our Oakland office, but telecommiting is an option. Generous benefit package.
